	A challenge for our local government is to assure security, stabilization at work and the appropriate standards of medical care for citizens of the district. The essential components of the security system, which is constantly being improved, are coordinated, in crisis situation, by District Centre of Crisis Management. The most important parts of the system are: Rescue Information Centre, the modern rescue hospital ward, the numerous police and fire-brigade units and the video monitoring of Września. During 2002-2006 Września District carried out many repairs and redecorations as well as a wide range of building investments reaching the amount of 25 milions PLN. One of the priorities of the local council is the improvement of medical service provided by Września hospital. In 2006 the general overhaul of the hospital was carried out and the new project of rebuilding the hospital was created - the cost of the investment is assessed at 45 milions PLN. There a numerous diagnostic laboratories, including the computer tomography. In 2008 the process of administrative conversion of the hospital was finished - now it is a trading partnership with a full share in a possession of the district. In order to provide citizens with complete information about current affairs and give them opportunity to participate actively in the district life we publish an informative newsletter "District Review". Września District is a prizewinner of various awards, first class honours and certificates: "Transparent Poland", "Hit" prize, "The districts and boroughs open to Structural Funds" certificate.
