One of the values of Great Poland's traditions is the need to gather unite in the cultural organizations. Their number on the terrain of the district grows, and the most important ones include the choirs - Camerata, Lutnia, Pro Musica - and the woodwind orchestras in Nekla, Pyzdry and Września. The painter's and photographic open airs, exhibitions and concerts are only examples of regular events which emerge out of the spontaneous need for taking part in the cultural life.

The constant elements in the cultural events schedule of the district are following:
  • Prowincjonalia - The Nationwide Festival of Film Art in Września - one of the biggest feature and documentary films festivals, taking place in "Trójka" Cinema (the beginning of the year)
  • The celebration of handing a prestigious literary award - the Kościelscy Foundation Award - hold in Miłosław (once on three years in October)
  • Literary salon in post-evangelical church in Miłosław - the most interesting Polish writers read their books (December)
  • The Nationwide Convention of Slavonic Warriors in Grzybowo - invoking the prehistory of the region connected with the early Piast's royal dynasty (August)
  • Kaziuki Wileńskie - the folk concerts and fairs in the Września's Cultural Centre (March)
  • International Folk Workshops - perfomances of the folk bands from the different countries of Europe (August)
  • Harvest Festival - every year organized in the different borough (September)
  • Connoisseur's Cinema - monthly cycle introducing the outstanding pictures.
